Since October 2015, Michal Stanak has been working for the LBI-HTA and his main research lies in the fields of public health (nudging in the big four health issues), High-Tech medicine (e.g., HTA for medical interventions in hospitals), and bioethics. Prior to joining LBI-HTA, he had worked as a teacher of civic studies and philosophy in Bratislava, Slovakia. Michal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics from King’s College London (2012) and a Master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Health Economics from University College London (2013). He is currently working on his PhD in Applied Ethics at the University of Vienna (2015-).
